Azaya's online eSafeData backup services include applications for interactive and automatic scheduling of backups with compression during transmission, incremental/full backups, encryption, synchronization, open file support for MS SQL Server, MS Exchange, Oracle Server Backups and many more. With Azaya's Professional (requires a separate signup), users can have higher security with default encryption on storage and higher retention with versioning up to 30 versions

1. Backup software is installed on the client workstation/server.
2. Data is compressed and encrypted at the client's machine prior to its transfer.
3. Offsite Backups will perform an initial backup of the entire data. This is also called a "full backup".
4. This encrypted data is transferred to our secure data center via the LAN / Internet.
5. Files recovered are still encrypted during the transfer back to the client.
6. For security purposes, only a authorized client can decrypt the files using a secure password.

• Select common files for automatic backups and restores.
• Maintain your directory structure during recovery.
• Maximize bandwidth use by selecting only the portions of files that have been modified.
• Choose the exact day you would like to recover from, and which files or directories you want restored.
• Offsite Backup data can be restored to CD, DVD, or removable hard drive, if requested.

• Our eSafeData block differential file comparison saves only the changed portions of files rather than the whole file. This reduces the average backup session from hours to minutes and even allows efficient backup over dial-up.
• Compression is applied to the changed blocks identified in the previous step. This even further reduces the “backup set” size and optimizes the transmission and storage of your “backup set”.
